surfaces / Needle Punched Surfaces
ETC Sports Surfaces are a leading provider of synthetic sports surfaces, specialising in artificial tennis courts and all weather sports pitches for schools, colleges, clubs and other sporting and training facilities. We can offer clients the hardwearing, long-lasting needle punched all-weather surface that is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
Designed and manufactured by Playrite, the needle punched surface and Matchplay II artificial pitch are unique, high-performance types of sand-dressed pitch that are ideal for a broad range of applications. These all-weather sports surfaces are perfect for multi-use games areas, tennis, netball or badminton courts and cricket, football or hockey pitches, as well as playgrounds and recreational sports areas.
NEEDLE PUNCHED SPORTS SURFACES
Choosing a needle punched surface for your facility has many advantages. They feature a built-in cushion layer that is ideal for medium paced play, feel more natural than other artificial sports surfaces and are exceptionally easy on the leg joints. This combined with a high level of porosity (play can be resumed 30 minutes after rain) and all-weather usage, means these sporting surfaces can maximise playing time and increase revenue potential.
Needle punched pitch surfaces are available in a choice of five colours and can be inlaid with permanent lines. What’s more these synthetic sports surfaces require minimal maintenance and provide a top rate performance life of up to 10 years.
The characteristics of needle punched surfaces can differ from other tennis court or MUGA surfaces and the requirements of each facility can vary significantly. That’s why at ETC Sports Surfaces our experienced sports surface contractors are on hand to provide you with expert advice and technical guidance to ensure you choose a surface solution that best suits your facility’s needs.
