Sports pitch construction accreditation
A sports pitch construction can be a significant investment. So, for peace of mind, ETC Sports Surfaces is registered with all the major safety, compliance and trade bodies in the UK.
SAPCA – This is the trade association for UK sports and play construction. SAPCA helps people make better choices throughout their sports pitch construction journey. Our active SAPCA membership upholds our commitment to industry compliance. And it reflects our approach, which focuses on innovation, value for money and ethical working practices.
The Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) – This voluntary scheme was launched in 1997. The scheme aims to improve the image of construction with its Code of Considerate Practice. As members of the CCS, we recently underwent a Performance Compliance Assessment. As a result, our sports pitch construction, health and safety, community engagement and environmental practices are rated “very good” to “excellent”.
The Tennis Industry Association UK (TIA UK) – We are partner members of the official trade body for UK tennis. As such, we’re at the front edge of best practice in tennis court construction. For example, we are the only UK main contractor authorised to install Tweener® LED Tennis Lighting. Plus we’re the only UK main contractor supplying Power Padel – an award winning Padel court system.
The Constructors Health and Safety Scheme (CHAS) – Safety is vital in every sports pitch construction project. So, we’re accredited with CHAS – a pioneer of industry benchmarks in UK construction health and safety.
Constructionline – Constructionline exists to build value in the supply chain and procurement cycle. As members, we strive to guarantee outstanding working practices, consistent quality and a healthy return on investment.
Safety Services (UK) Limited – To support our in-house policies, we work with this leading health and safety consultancy. They support us in delivering best practice in sports pitch construction. Their training and accreditation schemes provide an independent perspective, ensuring that we adhere to industry benchmarks in this crucial area.
ISO:9001 2015 – This is the world’s most recognised Quality Management System Standard. In fact, more than 1 million organisations across the world have adopted the scheme. So, we work with QMS International to keep our ISO 9001 certification current. We’re happy to protect our customers with this benchmark quality guarantee across our products and services.
