Polymeric Surface ETC Sports Surfaces are now able to offer our clients a polymeric surface. Predominantly used in running tracks and jump run-ups, the Polymeric surface is designed to have a high degree of slip resistance, a degree of shock absorption and be able to take a running shoe spike. These characteristics have made the Polymeric surfaces are ideal for other sports such as tennis, netball, five-a-side football and basketball, making this an appropriate surface for a Multi-Use Games Area. In order to play sports such as tennis and netball an extra acrylic coating is applied to aid slip resistance. If the main sport being used on the surface creates a lot of ball to surface contact, then a slightly thicker mix can be produced increasing the lifespan of the surface.  |
