Fencing - PA System Fencing

The origin of the term PA Systems is now somewhat lost in time having first been used in the late 1970s to describe a surround designed to meet the emerging needs of the then fledgling sports turf industry. We have met the need to provide a high quality, cost effective, low maintenance Sports Fence Surround, giving excellent rebound qualities. The term PA was possible derived Public Amenity, as this was envisaged as the main market area it could also have been a simple reference to Play Area usage.

Today, this type of surround is often referred to as a MUGA (Multi Use Games Area) fencing system, consisting of RHS steel posts, angle iron support rails and welded mesh above rebound panels of either birch throughout play boards or 358 mesh panels. This construction is still accepted as offering the best value for performance and durability in the high usage areas of public, commercial and educational facilities.
